This library contains a selection of bookshelves pertaining to different aspects of Broomheath Plantation operations. Under an ethos of openness, as much information as it is possible to make available to assist others will be made available here. From time to time a different bookshelf will be highlighted on this page depending on what we are concentrating on.
ICT books.- A lot of people comment on our use of Linux systems and free software under the GNU General Public License. Can it really replace Microsoft and other well known applications in the running of a business? Our experience to date shows that it can. Our chosen operating system is Ubuntu. Documents are written using OpenOffice and this website is written using SCREEM and uploaded to the WWW using gFTP. Not a penny has been paid and it is all perfectly legal and above board.
